Effective July 2026 · These terms apply to peer-to-peer money transfers within Still Here.
1. Who provides the service
Still Here operates the app. Card processing and settlement are performed by Stripe Payments Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 160 180 343), a payments provider licensed to operate in Australia. Your card details are never stored by Still Here.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 18+ and an Australian resident.
- You must hold a valid Australian debit or credit card.
- Recipients must complete identity verification (KYC) with our payments partner before receiving funds. This is required to meet AUSTRAC obligations.
3. Currency & caps
- All transfers are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
- Weekly transfer cap: A$500 per user (may be adjusted for risk management).
- Per-transfer minimum: A$1. Per-transfer maximum: A$500.
4. Fees
- The first A$50 per transfer is fee-free.
- A 50% platform fee applies to the portion of any transfer above A$50.
- Example: send A$80 → A$50 delivered fee-free + A$30 above threshold → A$15 platform fee, A$15 to recipient (before Stripe processing fees).
- Stripe processing fees (approx. 1.75% + A$0.30) apply on top and are deducted from the recipient balance.
5. Refunds & disputes
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund if a transfer fails or is not delivered. Contact support@stillhere.app within 7 days. Card chargebacks are handled by Stripe under card scheme rules.
6. Anti-money laundering
We comply with the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth). We may pause or block transfers we reasonably suspect involve fraud, money laundering, or violate sanctions. We may share information with AUSTRAC and law enforcement as required.
7. Prohibited uses
Money transfers may not be used for: illegal goods or services, sex work, gambling, cryptocurrency, arms, restricted pharmaceuticals, or transactions in violation of Australian sanctions.
8. Cooling off
You can cancel a transfer until it is claimed by the recipient. Once settled to their account, only chargeback processes apply.
9. Complaints
Email support@stillhere.app. If unresolved, you may contact the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) at afca.org.au.
